This past weekend, I went on a quick getaway to Chicago. I had such a great time walking around, taking pictures of the sights, and of course– shopping! I wish I was able to stay longer than the weekend, but it was great to visit again.
Since I was in Chicago aka The Windy City, I wanted to make sure that I was dressed warm— but also looked stylish. I love these pants that I got from H&M, the material is thick so it kept me warm. I originally bought them to wear to the office or for business meetings. But, when I paired it with my black turtleneck and a newsboy cap it gave the outfit a chic look.
Because I was walking around the city most of the day sightseeing I wanted to go for comfort so I wore my white Nike’s that I purchased from the thrift store for $20! I love these shoes because they tie together any outfit and also give that outfit a bit of a sporty look! I added a pop of color to this outfit by throwing on my new red coat (also purchased at the thrift store) and finished off the look with my black backpack from Express to carry my camera and other items.
